I'm a children's photographer in the South Orange County, CA area and am a Laguna Beach native.  Growing up in such a beautiful area and then living away from it has really made me appreciate all that California has to offer.  The energy, vitality, natural surroundings, creative atmosphere, climate, cuisine, and unique & interesting people are all reasons that I love California.  I have learned that there is truly no place like it and it is home for me again.

A little bit about myself...Well, I'm married to a very smart chemical engineer and have a fantastic little boy (born Nov. 5, 2009) named Noah.  He's an incredibly adorable baby who has a great temperament and we just love him to pieces.  We also have a little dog named Brodie who is filled with personality!  I enjoy spending as much time as possible with my little boy and he's usually attached to me except for when I'm on shoots!  Favorite things are beach walks, the ocean, grilling at my parents house, playing beach volleyball, traveling whenever possible (well, pre-baby), and just spending time hanging out with my family.  Mexican food, sushi, have a chips, red wine, green tea & See's candy are among my favorites.  Photography has been my passion and hobby until a couple of years ago when I decided to take it up a notch and shoot professionally.  My background is in video production and videography (working as a cameraperson) which has made my transition to still photography a very smooth one.

I look forward to working with you and thanks again for stopping by!

The post process involves color correction, level adjustments, increasing color to make it “pop” more, cloning, black and white, sepia, tea stained adjustments, retouching blemishes, wrinkles, drool (on babies), baby acne and more. Sometimes there will be something distracting in the background that needs to be removed.

Here are examples of the retouching process.
