I love photography and capturing everyday moments.  I have a very casual style and therefore my approach is a laid back, natural documentary type of photography.  That special glimpse or moment in time that really shows your true personality and lifestyle is what I strive to capture.  Don't worry about looking perfect or getting dirty so much as to just be yourself and have fun! 

I use natural light and specialize in children's, newborn, baby, maternity and family outdoor portrait photography.  I love the use of high contrast, black & white, and saturated colors.

How did I get into photography?  Well, after graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, I began my career working as a video camera assistant on a documentary series "Adventure Magazine & Flight Line".  My experience includes working as a cameraperson and video editor in television news, video editing, post and field producing, and videography. Extensive international travel has also led me to remote locations where I have captured unique images that have influenced and inspired me, while my background in video production and design has helped to make my transition a smooth one.

While traveling throughout Asia back in 2004, I had some amazing experiences with kids and people who, many of which had never been photographed, were just thrilled when I showed them their pictures. After spending several weeks taking pictures of people and experiencing the joy the photos brought to them is when I decided that I wanted to get serious and shoot professionally. I have finally made that move!  The photographs on this page are from my time spent traveling and shooting in Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

I reside in Laguna Niguel (Orange County), CA with my husband, baby boy "Noah" and our little 20-pound furry friend, "Brodie".   I look forward to working with you!
